Joyful event as we broke ground on the Dunard Centre in Edinburgh - the first new concert hall in the city in 100 years - with the singing of Caledonia by Dougie MacLean and pupils from Broughton Primary. Delighted ⁦Scottish Government⁩ has given increased support to make this happen.

FM John Swinney and Broughton Primary School pupils have marked the start of construction on Edinburgh’s first purpose built concert hall in over 100 years. Supported by up to £30 million from @ScotGov, the Dunard Centre will further enhance our globally renowned reputation for the arts.

Our P7 pupils have arrived safely at Lagganlia Outdoor Education Centre! As they settle in to their new surroundings, here are a few photos of their first day at camp. More photos to follow as the week progresses! 🛶🚴‍♀️🧗‍♀️🏂🎯

Day 2 of camp for our P7s and we had a lovely range of activities across the groups! Canoeing, Gorge walking, Archery, Skiing, Mountain biking and Hill walking! Looks like fairly nice weather too! 🛶🎯🏂🚵😀

Day 3 for our P7 happy campers at Lagganlia! Today's activities included gorge walking, skiing, hiking, rock climbing and a mountain walk! Hope the children are getting lots of sleep to recharge their batteries! 🧗‍♂️🏔️🏂🚶😴

Our final day of activities for P7 at camp! Hiking, rock climbing, abseiling, canoeing, snowboarding and skiing have all been part of today! We hope you all had a great time, P7! 🛶🧗‍♂️🏂⛷️😀
