GUSTY BREEZE
It's a cloudy & dreary day for many with light showers and drizzle. We're also dealing with a gusty NE breeze. At the shore winds are gusting 25-35mph+ in spots this afternoon.

NEXT 24 HOURS
After a cool weekend around here, temps rebound Monday! Watch for some patchy fog into early Monday. Any fog/clouds should give way to sunny skies. Temps get back into the low 70s making for a nice start to the week!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
It was our coolest Mother's Day since 2019. Temperatures today stayed in the 50s, but we have improvements on the way Monday. We're heading back to more seasonable conditions with highs in the 70s with sunshine.

The weather might not cooperate for doing things outdoors Sunday, but we hope all the moms out there have a wonderful Mother's Day! Dress warm it will be another cool day out there.

IMPROVEMENTS TODAY
Yesterday afternoon temperatures really struggled in the low 50s with cloudy skies and rain. It was so nice to see the sun today! Temps were still a bit cool for this time of the year, but overall a much nicer day!

LOOKING AHEAD
It has been a dreary, wet & chilly day around here. Showers and periods of drizzle continue through this afternoon. We'll start to dry out later this evening with improvements on the way for Saturday.

SHOWERS AROUND
We have a few showers in our northwest suburbs and some sprinkles elsewhere. Coverage should fill in overnight with even a heavier band of rain late at night. Then rain & drizzle will be with us all through the day on Friday with temps stuck in the mid 50s.

RADAR CHECK
As we close in on lunchtime we have widely scattered showers on radar. Temps continue to take a dip as the weekend approaches. I'll have the details on Action News on 6abc at noon!

ANOTHER WARM DAY!
Temperatures will likely fall shy of records today, but it is still very warm for early May! Today's average high is 72. Temps this afternoon will be getting close to 90°!

PATCHY FOG
Watch for areas of patchy fog and low visibility tonight. As of 8:30 PM here's a look at current visibilities. We're mostly getting reports of fog NW of Philadelphia.

SUNDAY'S FORECAST
It's another cool and unsettled day around here. If you have outdoor plans you'll want to make sure you have the rain gear with you and a jacket too. Temperatures will be in the 50s and low 60s.

RAIN TOTALS ☂️
Most places have seen 1/3' of rain or less so far. Showers continue tonight & Sunday. It looks like steadier periods of rain will be with us during the afternoon and evening. Temps remain cool for this time of year, but should be a few degrees warmer than today.

REST OF TODAY
Some parts of the day we'll have some brightening in the sky. But, overall it's more cloudy & much cooler than the last few days. Temps close to the coast stay in the 50s. West of the city, some areas will make it into the low 70s.

HEATING UP!

After highs in the low 80s today, we're heading to the upper 80s Monday. Temperatures will be getting close to daily record highs in some places. On top of the warm temps, dewpoints will be in the 60s. The added humidity will bring a true summer feel. Stay cool!
