Google has lobbied the government for years to impose sweeping 'net neutrality' rules on its ISP competitors--even though they're not the ones blocking content.

But Google is:

The FCC will vote April 25 on President Biden’s plan for expanding government control of the Internet.

None of the justifications the government puts forward withstand even casual scrutiny.

The only reason for it is to increase the government’s power:

Just one day after Facebook lobbied the FCC to impose heavy-handed “net neutrality” rules on its competitors, Facebook blocked all posts from a newspaper and removed all links to the outlet after it had published an article critical of Facebook.

The activists pushing for Title II “net neutrality” rules have allowed their politics to eclipse the facts.

Take their use of Santa Clara’s data plan.

The draft FCC order notes the argument that it wasn’t even a net neutrality issue—and the FCC draft doesn’t disagree! Telling.

At this very moment, the Biden Administration is in the Supreme Court arguing that it has the right to continue pressuring social media companies into censoring free speech.

Yet we’re supposed to believe that it will use these sweeping new government powers to protect it?

The gaslighting continues.

The FCC’s 435 page plan for increasing government control of the Internet doesn’t go 2 paragraphs before falsely stating that the plan is necessary b/c there’s no federal oversight of broadband today.

There is. The FTC already has oversight authority.

In 2017, we lived through one of the greatest hoaxes in regulatory history.

We were told that ending “net neutrality” (read: government control of the Internet) would end the Internet.

Now the government wants that control back & the FCC will vote on doing just that.

I’m a no.
