If Scots want a solution to the problems that presently afflict Scotland it will never come while we are stuck in this awful unequal Union. Change Tory for Labour. Futile. More decline, more debt, more asset stripping. We have got to paddle our own canoe. That's the solution.

Love Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 hate nationalism YES Brechin There was no case, but times have changed.
Westminster govt wants to destroy public services;
I believe that Scots still want NHS, welfare state, state education, fair society etc.

For Scotland, as things are just now, we must ask the English Parliament in London to allow us Independence. This UK, we are told is a partnership of equals. If England wanted to go Indy, would they ask the Scots, Welsh or N. Irish for permission? No. They'd just do it.

Still to come.
By 2050 England will not have enough fresh water to meet the needs of its population. That's not far away. We had, oil and Gas. We have a surplus of clean green electricity. We have 90% of the UK's fresh water. We need Indy. Now.

Quite plainly British Labour use the Union Flag on all their election campaign material
In Scotland this is missing?
Ask every Scottish Labour candidate why they are ashamed to use the same flag
You know why?
They want to fool the electorate over unionism
Don’t let them fool you

Labour in Scotland. Chuntering on about Workers rights and how they will champion them
Labour in Scotland standing up for the rights of WASPI women and their claim. Laudable. The big boss in London, Keir Starmer is not on message. End of. That's what happens to Branch Managers.

The hideous 'cartoon' in The Times and The Sunday Times today and the attitude of the audience in Cambridge on BBCQT last night towards Scotland surely let's us know where we stand in this 'Union of Equals'. Hard to understand how some 'Scots' still take delight in dancing to John Bull's tune.

John Grady Ask Westminster to return the 1.6 Billion it has removed from the block grant, or perhaps if Glasgow City Council SNP administration hadn’t had to spend millions rectifying your abandonment of woman’s equal pay or toxic PFI legacy the holes wouldn’t exist.

Starmer's Labour Party are now watering down their commitment to worker's rights. Just another U turn.
Anas Sarwar has been banging on about this for months. It's gone. Just shows what happens when the Boss changes his mind. The Branch Manager hung out to dry again.

Oh to be in England.
Since prescription charges were abolished in Scotland, the King's subjects in England have shelled out £6 billion in charges. That's what you get with the English Parliament in Westminster. Plenty money for macho symbols like Trident though.

At last a chance to get on the front foot. Hope the SNP choose Kate Forbes. The woke legacy left by N.Sturgeon put in the bin. Post Indy, particularly a Scots Constitution where things like GRR are decided by voters by referendum, just as they do in Switzerland.

Last Scots election. This household voted SNP 1 Greens 2. Next time Certainly not Green. 1st Vote? Jury is out. Either SNP or Alba. Who will get 1 or who will get 2? Time will tell.

After more than 300 hundred years of this so called Union of Equals. Looking at all the other small Indy nations in Europe, where and what if any are the benefits of this unequal tie up?

Watched A. Salmond on Sky and BBC earlier today.
God how he is missed. Balanced, statesman like with presence. Not in Alba. Previous long time SNP activist. Maybe it's time A. Salmond was rehabilitated. We in the Indy movement need clout.

Bute House Agreement gone. Just a feeling of relief. Never trusted the Greens. Now just want the SNP to get back to doing what they should have been doing, governing for the vast majority of the Scots population. Indy,Land tax, SSEN and their pylons kicked into touch,Scotland 1st

Tory in Scotland cry. Tax policy by the SNP will drive talent out of Scotland. Oops. More talented workers over the last years have moved into Scotland than those that have left. No ifs, no, buts, just facts. Scotland is a good place to live and prosper. Be even better post Indy

By the end of 2024 UK Gov will be paying £17 million a day to house refugees. Boats won't stop.
Instead of doing a King Canute, they would be better spending the money in keeping them in their own land. Stop selling arms. Build them infrastructure. Give them jobs instead of guns.

Labour Prime Ministers since 1960. Harold Wilson devalued the pound
Jim Callaghan had to call in the IMF for a bail out. Tony Blair conned parliament into an illegal war in Iraq. Gordon Brown sold the gold and with light touch regs brought about the financial crash. All disasters

It now costs more to give a bucket seat on a plane to Rwanda to a refugee than it does to fly Executive Class on British Airways. Half a billion already spent and not a soul in Rwanda. And Unionists in Scotland go on about ferries. £500,000 for 300. 52,000 in the queue. A farce.
