It was another outstanding year for Iowa ABI at the Capitol as the Legislature adjourned sine die at 4:23 am. Many pro-growth bills were approved that fell under our priorities of workforce, tax and regulatory reform. Thanks to all who helped make this year a great one!

The Senate has just passed SF 2411. It now heads to Gov. Reynolds!

The House also just passed SF2442 by a vote of 68-24. This establishes a flat individual income tax rate of 3.8% for Tax Year 2025. It now heads to Gov. Reynolds. Iowa ABI is in favor of the bill and appreciates Chairman Kaufmann’s leadership on the legislation.

The House just approved SJR 2004 by a vote of 58-35. The resolution is a constitutional amendment that,
if adopted, would enshrine the individual flat tax rate. Iowa ABI is in favor of this resolution.
