It’s been… months… since I’ve felt any creative drive at all.

So, I wrote a thing.

I've had 2 people read it and they don't hate it.

It's not done, but it's the first bit of fiction I've written in damn near a year. It's quite a tonal shift from my most recent work (a lot darker).

And it feels good.

Also, my migraine is almost gone.

I cannot tell you… I honestly cannot put into words how much I loved the stories in this one.

I just turned around the last book in a series I've edited. I have one of the biggest book hangover I've ever had, and I feel like I just lost a ton of friends who have become so close they are part of me.

I have the best job, but sometimes saying goodbye is hard. #amediting

Someone suggested that I teach a few (paid, online, video) classes, a five course series, each one focused on one of the top five issues I see as an editor and how to deal with them.

My first course would be called “ON WORLDBUILDING AND THE IMPACT OF INFORMATION IMBALANCES.”
