Da Afghanistan Bank- Afghanistan To address AFN & USD cash shortage (1) remove restrictions on domestic transfers as it will ease the pressure on AFN; 2) remove restricT on internt'l transfers as it will reduce domestic dmd for USD cash. Let banks to work out with their correspondent banks abroad

Banking restrictions imposed by Da Afghanistan Bank- Afghanistan have disrupted supply chains & halted flow of money & goods. Retailers & wholesalers are running down inventories, & food shortage will arise soon. Banking restrictions to be immediately resolved to prevent deepening crisis

If Taliban appointees in Da Afghanistan Bank- Afghanistan do not act immediately to address current restrictions on internat'l & domestic transfers, soon the econ will plunge into irreversible depression. Traders cant make payment 2 their suppliers abroad to import food & other necessities.

Ajmal Ahmady former Da Afghanistan Bank- Afghanistan governor's mismanagement of USD & AFN cash reserves & absurdly restricting commercial banks to access to their deposits with DAB prior to Kabul takeover led to the current banking crisis. Taliban are not to be blamed.
