this album is more than twice as long, so Midnights has more swears per minute, but preliminary analysis suggests the TTPD swears are higher intensity

AP wrote a riddle for you because it can’t say “Israel killed a Palestinian mother” in the headline - you need to make your own conclusion instead

Language can help us see things as if for the first time. When it fails, though, the problem does not really lie with language but with us.

This idea that racism is always hate filled & sounds destructive.
No; it can often sound “nice”-even anti racist.
Cultural blindness for eg is the most dangerous form of racism-“I don’t see colour”; “I treat everyone the same”: “Stop ‘dividing us by race”; “We are all Australians

I opened my Melbourne record shop in 1992. The first time somebody came in and said 'vinyl's making a comeback, y'know' was probably 1994, thirty years ago. I've been hearing it ever since and my patience and capacity for politeness are wearing thin.

Don’t they read their own publications?

Interesting newspaper story framing, describing Sydney’s “affluent east” & “multicultural west” as its twin poles. Presumably the former is a monoculture (wait til they see the shore!) & the latter principally poor.
