Janet is currently working with beekeepers in Tanzania, she sent these wonderful photos of the Bee Forest, established by Chengena village in Namtumbo District. The notice says (approximately) “no cutting, no animals and no damage allowed”.

Last week, our team in Zimbabwe worked with community members from Nyazura to plant 1200 Eucalyptus 🌱 and 53 lemon 🍋 plants.

At the end of last year, our team in Zimbabwe opened their very own Honey Shop. But as you’d guess, this shop does a lot more than just sell honey. It is a place for learning, discussion and Nature-based Beekeeping with an emphasis on low cost hives and bee ecology.

2.1 tonnes (!!) of honey collected from beekeepers in and around Donkorkrum, Ghana. All processed and sold on with each beekeeper receiving a fair price and full traceability for the buyer. Awesome work Bees for development Ghana 🇬🇭🍯

We're delighted to end the year with this announcement!
