The self-denial is massive. The only thing she did in the role -except oversee the force go into special measures - was get caught speeding. It's all she was known for, as her failure to resign made her a shining example of shamelessness in a crowded field.

This is the first election Ben Bradley has lost, since first becoming a politician in 2015, aged just 24.

He probably will lose two more (County Councillor/ MP) in quick succession, 5 years before he turns 40.
