Congratulations to Jack Grunkemeyer who was selected to play for the South All-Star team! Jack will represent Batesville as a pitcher in the 49th annual IHSBCA North-South Series at Huntington University on June 21-23. Grunk is our program’s 10th player to receive this honor.

Varsity wins 7-1 over Franklin County to advance to the Sectional Championship on Monday vs Greensburg. Eli Loichinger threw a complete game, allowing 4 hits & striking out 11. Schneider, Dudley & Krekeler each had 2 hits to lead the offense. Varsity is now 18-9.

Varsity wins 7-1 in round 1 of Sectionals vs Lawrenceburg. Grunkemeyer went 6 strong on the bump striking out 9. Bohman shut the door in the 7th. Offensively, Drake and Grunk each had a double, Dudley with a triple, and Lewis with a 2 run home run. Bulldogs will now play Saturday

Congratulations to Jack Grunkemeyer who was named the District H Player of the Year! Jack becomes just the second Batesville Baseball player to receive this honor (Zach Britton - 2017).

Varsity falls 4-0 at Westfield. Eli Loichinger went 5 innings, allowing just 3 hits and striking out 5. Carson Schneider and Conner Drake led the offense with a hit a piece. The Bulldogs end the regular season with a record of 16-9 and finished 2nd in the EIAC going 11-3.

Varsity wins 2 at Rushville. Game 1 was 8-7 in 9 innings. Mason Jones with the game winning RBI! Game 2 was an 8-5 win. Carson Schneider earned the win in both games getting out of a bases loaded jam in game 1 then starting game 2 going 6.1 innings. Varsity is now 16-8 (11-3)!

Start time for our games at Rushville tonight is now pushed back to 6:30pm.

NO-HITTER! Jack Grunkemeyer needed just 86 pitches to go 7 innings, 11 strikeouts & 1 walk. Brayden Maple broke the tie with an RBI double. Carson Schneider & Carter Bohman each added 2 hits to help Varsity defeat South Dearborn 2-0. The Bulldogs are now 14-8 (9-3) on the season.

Varsity wins 8-5 over South Dearborn on Senior Night! Carter Bohman was 1 out shy of a complete game allowing 0 earned runs & striking out 5. Conner Drake earned the save. The offense had 10 hits on the night with Loichinger, Drake & Schneider each having 2. Varsity is 13-8 (8-3)
