Next weekend is #NationalMillsWeekend . Celebrate with us at Bateman’s Park Mill, one of the only working water mills in the area. Park Mill was loved by Rudyard Kipling, who often featured it in stories he wrote at Bateman's.

The National Garden Scheme raises money for nursing and health charities through admissions, teas and cake.
The study was the heart of the house, where Rudyard Kipling would retreat to write and read. His desk is very much the centrepiece of the room.
