They think they’re Churchill.

They’re congratulating themselves for spending money that doesn’t belong to them—money we don’t have and will have to borrow and print.

Spending other people’s money to fight someone else’s war—against their will—isn’t heroic.

It’s cowardice.

Senate GOP leadership should never, ever whip Senate Republicans on a bill that unifies the Senate Democrat majority—especially where the bill didn’t have the support of a majority of the House GOP.

That’s tantamount to whipping the GOP conference to support a Democrat bill,

Don’t settle—

For Republicans who vote like Democrats.

Expect more.

Expect freedom.

Americans are about to be made nearly $100 billion poorer.

Not to secure our own borders.

But to secure the borders of other countries.

Republicans—spurred by Republican leadership in both chambers—gladly advanced the Democrats’ agenda.

Neglecting our own.

This is shameful.

Too many Republicans in Congress have done the bidding of the Democrats & voted to advance the Dems’ agenda.

This is a sad reminder that we need more conservatives in both houses of Congress.

We have very different reasons for this position, and disagree completely on which amendments should pass, but it’s time for all senators to agree that we should vote!
