Factor in a 7% drop in GP numbers, a 7% rise in population & 10% waiting for hospital treatments, it’s a problem getting worse

The funding isn’t there for the 8000 missing GPs

I saw at 1st hand over 3 months the work that nurses do. They cared for me when I was in a 40-day coma and wrote a 'Patient Diary' of all they did to keep me alive - and then in the Rehab hosp they assisted the OTs and physios to teach me to walk. I 100% support the strike.

✅ The recommended number of appointments per GP is 15. The safe maximum is 25.

⚠️ The harsh reality is that on average, one doctor is seeing 46 patients per day.

⛔️ GPs simply can't give patients their best care at this rate.
