Would all BWWPL clubs note that fixtures must not start before 11th February, 2019. If they do then they will be asked to re-arrange them. Note that there is no problem organising fixtures prior to the fixture meeting which follows the AGM on 8th January.

Reminder to all team secretaries that team registrations need to be with the Match Secretary by 31st January. After that its £1 per player!

Devon rivals Exeter Water Polo and NASC waterpolo Abbot saw their ladies and senior men's teams open the 2019 BWWPL season. Exeter Ladies were victors by 18-4; and in the Premier League game that followed, Exeter Water Polo were 28-7 victors.

In the water polo game between WSMWP and City of Bristol Water Polo Barbarians, played at Hutton Moor LC , the game finished all square at 14-apiece.

On Friday Bath Uni Water Polo play City of Newport II at the university, and the students are back in action when they face South Glos on Saturday. On Sunday Swansea Water Polo are in action against Cwm Cwm Draig Water Polo Club in the first round of this year's BWWPL Knockout competition.
