Today, I attended an iftar.

Last year, we established a new tradition of celebrating the holy Ramadan together: our country's political leadership, the military command, representatives from the Ukrainian Muslim community, the Crimean Tatar Mejlis, and the diplomatic corps.

American leadership and presence in Europe is vital for the security of the whole transatlantic area. Today, we met with Secretary Antony Blinken to restate and reaffirm this undeniable fact, expressing the hope of the Baltic States, that this relationship will long continue.
