Today, we mark Holocaust Remembrance Day and honor the millions murdered by Nazi Germany, including six million Jews. We re-commit ourselves to fighting for a world where such horrors can never happen again.

We are proud that our national org Young Democrats of America stands with us in our calls to defend antiwar student protests from violent police repression and for an immediate & permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

Young people are making their voices heard, and President Biden needs to listen.

We stand with college students protesting the war in Gaza and reject attempts to use mass arrests and any other forms of punishment to silence them. They are on the right ride of history.

We're deeply disturbed by the mass arrests and punishment of antiwar student protestors at campuses in New York and across the country, and stand with students calling for a permanent ceasefire.

Last night, I + other BYD board members visited the CUNY antiwar encampment. We brought some blankets & portable chargers for students. Also ran into my soccer teammate + fellow CUNY alum!

These students are calling for justice and peace, and deserve respect, not mass arrests.

Administration can & must ensure students' safety and prevent harassment on campus without resorting to the forcible removal of peaceful protestors

Colleges should be engaging nonviolent antiwar student protestors in dialogue—and protecting them from cynical actors exploiting this moment—not inviting police onto campus to conduct mass arrests.

Students like NYU College Democrats are calling for justice, and they can not be silenced.
