If Bill C-53 becomes law, Métis will have the same self-gov’t rights as other existing Indigenous Municipalities, like Nipissing!

That’s the ultimate goal of the Trudeau gov’t!

Aylan (AY like Day - LAN like LandBack) Couchie It’s too bad the “Indigenous Identity Fraud” Summit didn’t focus more on how Canada’s Indigenous Melting Plot is part of Feds longstanding goal of removing the legal distinctions between “Indians” & Canadians via Municipalization step-by-step!

@AylanX Also. On the left is AGO's statement to me from last week. On the right is their memo to staff, commenting on difficult conversations in the last few weeks.

Aylan (AY like Day - LAN like LandBack) Couchie For past 8 years Trudeau gov’t has been implementing its pan-Indigenous approach 2 “Reconciliation”-dissolving Dept. of Indian Affairs, passing “Indigenous” legislation, creating 2 “Indigenous” Depts. AFN, COO, UOI & your Band has gone along with it, so it’s a little to cry IMO!

What can institutions do to support the Indigenous staff they hire? There are some excellent questions being asked in this letter. Adding: Do they have Indigenous board members? Do they have strong Advisory councils with real power? Change is possible.
