We held a lovely service this morning to mark the twinning of Rainhill with Latour-en-Woëvre in France and to remember Rainhill airman 2nd Lt Thomas Alfred Jones who was shot down and killed over Latour-en-Woëvre in WW1. The villagers buried his body and still tend to his grave.

A huge congratulations to our Y5/6 girls for their amazing performance during today’s tournament. Thank you to St Helens School Sport for a brilliant day. Well done girls- always making us so proud! 🏆 💚💛
