Sandown Bay was the backdrop to a plethora of entrepreneurial, scientific, artistic, and business talent today when Artecology played host to the team from Future Ocean Foundation & The Coral Centre, marine biologist Dr Kathryn Whittey, & artist & PhD student Abigail Burt.

This is complex structural intertidal habitat formed inside a pattern-imprinted seawall.

A new flat-bottom tide pool test at Science Beach. Whilst the water holding part of the pool is open and unobstructed, the interior/exterior walls are heavily textured and patterned with sculptural overhangs.
