The red rock is petrified wood from the Petrified Forest National Park, AZ that I purchased from the Hopi tribe on one of my trips there.

Our customer, Ray, wanted our 3D Crossguard Longsword, but he couldn't make up his mind if he wanted a black blade or a bare steel one, so he asked us to split the difference.
One side of the blade is shiny bare steel.
The other side of the blade is a black finish.

After I posted a recent video that featured one of our Zombie Apocalypse Cleaver in a custom sheath with a baldric, my aim being to show off the leather work, quite a few people pointed out that they wished I had shown the blade outside of her sheath.
