Here’s November in UK justice #ThisMonthInJustice #16DaysofActivism
At the #StateOpening of Parliament today for the #KingsSpeech , which marks the formal start of the Parly session and sets out the Govt's agenda. This is the first time HM The King has opened Parliament as Sovereign & the first King’s Speech since 1951. Always an awesome occasion.
The Permanent Secretary Antonia Romeo is now on stage as our first key speaker.
She thanks HMCTS colleagues for all their efforts and reiterates how critical their work has been in delivering justice for those who need it.

Preparing for tomorrow. The Coronation Roll is the detailed record of events in the #Coronation ceremony, including the actions taken & words spoken by all participants, including Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
Fascinating exhibition of previous Coronation Rolls in the Cabinet Office - from Edward II in 1308 to Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 1953, each prepared by previous Clerks of the Crown in Chancery.
A great honour to be the Clerk for the #coronation of King Charles III.
