Hours after speaking at a rally in Banja Luka where he denied the Srebrenica genocide and called the Dayton peace accords a “mistake,” RS President Dodik attended military exercises in Serbia. In this tweet he refers to Serbia’s “territorial potential and integrity.”

The policy of appeasement towards warmongering populists like Banjac sends the wrong message to 🇧🇦 youth and future generations, jeopardizing their prospects. We urge the international community to withdraw support mechanisms in RS in response to overt hate and discrimination.

However, attitudes are not uniform between countries, with Serbia having the least interest in the EU, and Serbians largely believe that Ukraine and the West share responsibility for the war.
