Last week I traveled to Colorado to celebrate national and community service. I spoke with AmeriCorps NCCC members who are helping low-income families and individuals prepare their tax returns. Last year, these members were able to return $84M to Americans nationwide.
Meet Rosalba, an AmeriCorps Seniors volunteer for over 10 years. As a Senior Companion, she helps retirees live independently and improve their well-being. Rosalba, and volunteers like her, show genuine compassion that inspires us all.
