Conservatives’ review of fit notes is just more state sanctioned violence directed at ordinary ppl when they’re at their most vulnerable.

Our billionaire Prime Minister’s obsession with making sick people jump through hoops to receive welfare assistance is grotesque.

The richest Prime Minister in history – worth an estimated £529,000,000 – is demonising sick and disabled people.

He wants us to blame our problems on anyone but the real culprits:

The Tory government, their super-rich donors, and a system that puts greed before human need.

I'm trying to get my head around Sunak's
latest knee jerk initative.
He now appears to be questioning the clinical competence of GPs to sign sick notes !
Traditionally a clear indication of Tory desperation pre GE is when they attack the poor, sick & disabled.

In his speech Sunak said the BMA had welcomed his proposals.

At the job interview do BBC 'journalists' sell out their morals or are they hired because they had no morals to start with?

Even the ONS stressed that the 50% who reported depression and anxiety, reported it as a secondary condition. Tbf if I had a serious physical illness then I, too, would be anxious and depressed.

Sunak knows the game is up.
He's going for broke because he has absolutely nothing to lose.
His latest initiative announced publicly and not to the HOC btw - is to penalise the long term sick - bypassing GPS & introducing a new mechanism for issuing sick notes.

The local supermarket public reaction to Sunak's latest ramblings on sickness consisted of two Anglo Saxon expletives.

I agreed, naturally.

Rishi’s new plans to get people back to work don’t sound particularly thought through. Banning the health professionals from deciding who is and who isn’t fit

Earlier this week I told the government that the industry were warning government that half-baked plans would cause chaos at our borders and lead to a further food price hike.

The Farming Minister denied it, now just two days later they've admitted I was right.

Here we go again...what a shower. This will be all over the media today. And interviews phrased in ways that help them in their agenda.

My uncle had a story of a friend, after WW2, receiving a letter from some ministry which asked about his long term medical condition in very generic terms.

In his case, it meant 'is the leg still missing?'.

Despite 'climate emergency ' there is no Planning Requirement to build energy efficient homes using green energy. Apparently this will cost too much for developers of private housing, etc, & disturb their profit models. National government could help of course.
