Kids are my favorite. Every year this question provides entertaining answers, but this one just made me smile and appreciate the fact I get to work with kids who make me laugh everyday.

Math is more fun when it involves movement. Students had to write their own word problems and then we played musical movement. When the music stopped, they had to partner up, share their problem, and solve the other problem. JackAndersonElemSTEM @co_sumner

Today, we combined ART with area and perimeter and created masterpieces inspired by artist, Pier Mondrian. Students had to design a grib, measure the area and perimeter of 3 rectangles, and then paint using only primary colors. JackAndersonElemSTEM @co_sumner

It’s been 20 years since we centered schools around standardized tests & 8 years since the tests were supposed to make all kids proficient in reading & math. If they were going to work, it would have happened by now.

Love living next to talented neighbors and having so many people getting excited about being a part of the Liberty Creek High School family. It’s going to be a great community of schools!
