اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ

It is Allah Who has created the heavens and the earth, and all between them, in six Days, and is firmly established on the Throne (of Authority).

إِنَّمَا يُؤْمِنُ بِآيَاتِنَا الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا بِهَا خَرُّوا سُجَّدًا

Only those believe in Our revelations who, when they are reminded of them, fall down prostrate

{ قَالَ أَسْلَمْتُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ }

Abraham replied, ‘I devote myself to the Lord of the Universe,’

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ * الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِمْ خَاشِعُونَ

Certainly will the believers have succeeded: * They who are during their prayer humbly submissive

فَنِعْمَ الْمَوْلَىٰ وَنِعْمَ النَّصِيرُ

and excellent is the protector, and excellent is the helper.

*وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

for He (Allah) has power over all things.

فَذُوقُوا بِمَا نَسِيتُمْ لِقَاءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَـٰذَا إِنَّا نَسِينَاكُمْ

So taste (the evil of your deeds). Forasmuch as ye forgot the meeting of this your day, lo! We forget you.

{ وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ مِن رَّحْمَتِنَا }

out of Our grace We granted him

هُوَ مَوْلَاكُمْ ۖ

He is your protector

فَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِاللَّهِ

So establish prayer and give zakah and hold fast to Allah.

وَقَالُوا أَإِذَا ضَلَلْنَا فِي الْأَرْضِ أَإِنَّا لَفِي خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ ۚ بَلْ هُم بِلِقَاءِ رَبِّهِمْ كَافِرُونَ
And they say: When we are lost in the earth, how can we then be re-created? Nay but they are disbelievers in the meeting with their Lord.

{ إِنَّمَا عِندَ اللَّهِ هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ }

what God[Allah] has [to give] is better for you

وَافْعَلُوا الْخَيْرَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

and do good - that you may succeed.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ارْكَعُوا وَاسْجُدُوا وَاعْبُدُوا رَبَّكُمْ

O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord

فَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ

So (give) glory to Allah, when you reach evening and when you rise in the morning

وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ

and appointed for you hearing and sight and hearts. Small thanks give ye!

{ وَاعْمَلُوا صَالِحًا ۖ }

and do good deeds
