وَاصْنَعِ الْفُلْكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا وَوَحْيِنَا

But construct an Ark under Our eyes and Our inspiration

﴿إِنَّا مُنَجُّوكَ﴾

we will save you

ذَ‌ٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ

That is what is the great attainment.

بُشْرَاكُمُ الْيَوْمَ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ

'Your good tidings today are [of] gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein you will abide eternally.

وَعَجِلْتُ إِلَيْكَ رَبِّ لِتَرْضَىٰ

And I hurried on to You, my Lord, that you may be pleased.”

قَالَ إِنَّمَا يَأْتِيكُم بِهِ اللَّهُ إِن شَاءَ وَمَا أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ

He said: 'Truly, Allah will bring it on you if He wills,- and then, ye will not be able to frustrate it!

﴿إِنِّي تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ﴾

Indeed, I have relied upon Allah

مَّن ذَا الَّذِي يُقْرِضُ اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا فَيُضَاعِفَهُ لَهُ وَلَهُ أَجْرٌ كَرِيمٌ

Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He will multiply it for him and he will have a noble reward?

وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ

And Allah, with what you do, is Acquainted.

إِنَّمَا إِلَٰهُكُمُ اللَّهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا

Surely your god is Allah, the One besides whom there is no other god. He comprehends everything in knowledge.

اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا فِي أَنفُسِهِمْ ۖ

Allah knoweth best what is in their souls:

﴿وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوهُ ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ﴾

'And indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path.'

وَكُلًّا وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ

But to all Allah has promised the best [reward].

وَلِلَّهِ مِيرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ

while to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth

وَأَضَلَّ فِرْعَوْنُ قَوْمَهُ وَمَا هَدَىٰ

Pharaoh misled his people, and did not guide them.

وَإِنِّي لَغَفَّارٌ لِمَنْ تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا ثُمَّ اهْتَدَىٰ

And I am Forgiving towards him who repents, believes, acts righteously, and then remains guided.

وَلَئِنْ أَذَقْنَاهُ نَعْمَاءَ بَعْدَ ضَرَّاءَ مَسَّتْهُ لَيَقُولَنَّ ذَهَبَ السَّيِّئَاتُ عَنِّي ۚ

But if We give him a taste of (Our) favours after adversity hath touched him, he is sure to say, 'All evil has departed from me:
