Today #GDC co-facs 🇸🇪Amb Anna-Karin Eneström & 🇿🇲Amb Chola Milambo invited 🇺🇳Member States to answer questions on the zero draft presented last week.

We thank all delegations for participating and look forward to continue this process.

As Co-Facilitators 🇩🇪🇳🇦🇸🇪🇿🇲🇳🇱🇯🇲 of the #PactForTheFuture , #GlobalDigitalCompact and the #DeclarationOnFutureGenerations it is our joint responsibility to coordinate closely. This is what we did today and will continue to do so until the #SummitOfTheFuture in September.

The life and health of children in Gaza must be protected. Sweden has initiated a meeting with Israel’s Foreign Ministry, several EU Member States and other partners to convey the urgent need to improve humanitarian access to Gaza.

Sweden is now a NATO member. Thank you all Allies for welcoming us as the 32nd member. We will strive for unity, solidarity and burden-sharing, and will fully adhere to the Washington Treaty values: freedom, democracy, individual liberty and the rule of law. Stronger together.
