Today Adam and I moved in parliament, on behalf of the Greens, to recognise the state of Palestine. Labor, Liberals, Nationals all joined together to vote against the motion.

The Greens and Andrew Wilkie voted yes.

History will remember moments like this.

Not old enough for social media but old enough to be sent to prison🤔

If Labor governments are serious about the wellbeing of our kids, why are they dragging their feet on raising the age of criminal responsibility to at least 14?

Strength and solidarity to everyone with the guts to speak out and stand up against the genocide in Gaza right now.

1000s signed a petition to force a debate in Vic Parliament on Labor's r'ship w the Israeli Ministry of Defence & Israel's largest weapons manufacturer.

Last night, 100s turned up to watch the debate live from the steps of Parliament.

Labor refused to put up a single speaker.

Victorians have watched in horror at the atrocities unfolding in Gaza at the hands of the Israeli military.

Yet Vic Labor still holds a secretive MoU with the Israeli Ministry of Defence and gives public money to Israeli weapons company Elbit Systems.

Landlords shouldn’t be allowed to kick a tenant out of their home just because they want to sell.

Lots of places around the world give tenants the right to stay in their home during a sale.

It’s just another way that Labor prioritises the rights of landlords over renters.

On Nakba day, the Victorian Parliament has banned the keffiyeh - one of the only parliaments in the world to do so.

The speaker stopped short of asking another MP to take a pro-Israel badge off, despite Ellen Sandell seeking clarification on the ruling.

The Victorian Parliament has just ruled that MPs are not allowed to wear the keffiyeh in the chamber.

That makes us one of the only parliaments in the world to ban the keffiyeh - on Nakba day, a day that marks the displacement of Palestinian people.

Labor’s decision to cave into the fossil fuel industry & back the burning of gas for decades to come in the midst of a climate crisis is a betrayal of every young person’s future & its promise on climate action.

We will remember.

If you want change, you have to vote for it.

For property investors this might not be much. But for someone who rents this would cover a trip to the dentist, the electricity bills for a year, childcare costs, or heaven forbid, a mini break with some friends.

Renters: how would a saving of $2,537 help you?

Maximum jobseeker payment: $762.70 a fortnight; median rent in Ballarat: $400 a week. In fact, an Anglicare report found there are NO affordable rental properties in all of Australia for an individual on jobseeker. How is this situation acceptable? theguardian.com/australia-news…

Labor is clearly struggling with the public reaction to their relationship with Elbit, but lack the insight to do anything about it. 3/3

At the request of a Liberal MP, the Labor speaker ordered Greens MP Gabrielle de Vietri to remove her keffiyeh. Unclear what this has to do with the protesters. Gabrielle refused and was ordered to leave. 2/3
