The vote in the YMGE EU Parliament drastically hollowed out an already weak #SoilMonitoringLaw proposal. Failing to lay the ground for restoration of #SoilHealth in Europe. Beyond belief. All hope on @EU_Council to recognize that we can't afford to lose time.
One-sided #CAP simplification w/out vision fails to address the most important issues: lack of fair prices & insufficient support for farmers who do more to protect our soils, water and biodiversity.

Scrapping #CAP environmental standards will leave farmers vulnerable to the impacts of the #ClimateCrisis and #BiodiversityLoss and will do nothing to help them!
This CAP reform in disguise is undemocratic, untransparent, and harmful.
