'The University of Florida is not a day care, and we do not treat protesters like children.'

Meanwhile, at Ivy League schools, students are try to get their arrest records expunged so the arrests won't follow them into their 'adult lives.' Who's going to tell them?

The Washington University in St. Louis shows what it means to respect the right of free speech, but enforce policies & laws against people who deliberately violate them by trespass, harassment & other Brownshirt tactics. See, Columbia University, Yale University, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), etc., it's not hard to enforce rule of law.

Current chant by Columbia University protestors calls for genocidal elimination of Jews. Same as 'from the river to the sea.' They can certainly believe & advocate nihilism & death. But they NOT have right to illegally trespass, harass people & steal tuition by shutting down classes.

The First Amendment secures the right of free speech, right of assembly & the right to petition the government. These are essential rights of a free society. It does NOT protect a 'right of protest.' It does NOT protect a right to harass, intimidate, or to violate others' rights.

We can now add NORTH KOREA to list of authoritarian regimes explicitly praised by these modern Brownshirts, along with Iran, Hamas (Gaza) & Yemen terrorists. Regimes that starve their populations, kill gays, repress women, but, sure, tell me again how they stand for 'justice.'

Imagine KKK thugs preventing black student from attending class at a public university. The university legitimately would be in paroxysms of condemnation & punishment of the racist thugs. Antisemitic pro-Hamas students at UCLA get free pass for bigotry & illegal intimidation.

This is a new image of the 'mane' of the Horsehead Nebula!

The field of view is 0.8 lightyears across—which is a staggering 7,569,000,000,000 kilometres.

And whereas the Nebula and the six-sided stars in the frame are *in* the Milky Way...

...EVERYTHING ELSE IS A GALAXY

Why does Columbia University keep evading obvious solution: expel all students committing illegal trespass, harassment & tortious interference with students' & university relations for which $ millions were paid by thousands of other students. If the protestors resist, then prosecute.

This is excellent idea. Make it clear what these protesters actively support as 'resistance' or sanction by silence. Never a peep from these protestors condemning real genocidal murders & atrocities of Oct 7, hostage taking of babies & children & other war crimes by Hamas.

Them: Israeli is committing genocide, and the international community is sitting back and letting it happen!
Me: I think the genocide charge is absurd, but put that aside for now, what should Israel be doing?
Them: End the war as the beginning of a decolonization project that…

If you ever wondered what you would’ve done in the Weimar/early Nazi days when Jews were being squeezed out of universities and polite society, with increasing antisemitic graffiti and vandalism, it’s what you’re doing now.

This is the entire problem. These universities are selectively enforcing (or not enforcing) their rules to provide exemptions to these pro-terror and anti-Semitic mobs to rules they have and continue to enforce against everyone else. And everyone knows it.

George Washington University asked DC police to help clear a policy-violating encampment on their private property. But 'city officials in the police chief’s and mayor’s office told police to stand down and said that it would look bad publicly for police to disrupt a 'small…

Yes, but this true of how ideological & political movements always work. Only ~5% Germans members in Nazi party in 1930s, even less true believers, but mindless support by others made possible its takeover. Same of communists in Russia in 1917. It's about ideas, not % population.

Just like @cnn, reporter at The Washington Post, which has proven it's willingness to repeat as fact Hamas propaganda about Gaza counteroffensive, tells us there's no antisemitism in GW University protest. Are you going to believe your lying eyes or @Joshrogin telling u what to believe?
