The group improved credit risk resulting in a 3% year-on-year loan book growth as of March 31, 2024, compared to 26% growth in the year ending 31st December 2023. This also led to a shift to public sector lending with government securities growing to 21%. #Equity2024Q1Results

The #Equity2024Q1Results revealed a 25% growth in the profit of Kshs. 16 billion before tax.
This was a strong bounce back from the year ending 31st 2023 after a decline of 5% in profits after tax.
The recovery was by strong leadership decision-making and an agile balance sheet.

Earlier this week on 13th May 2024, Equity Group Holding PLC released their 2024 Q1 Financial Results.
