Our MSc Marine and Environmental Science students visited Commonwealth Park, where they practised mark and recapture methods to estimate population size utilising dried beans to simulate frogs, employing Problem-Based Learning! 🐸🔍

Last week, our MSc Marine Science and Environmental Science students dove headfirst into an Applied Sciences conference, giving them a view of real scientific discourse. This experience was key in honing their presentation and scientific poster skills! 🎓

Some kingfishers occupy our rocky shoreline Gib Marine Reserve and catch fish from the sea. This one was yesterday on the rocks at Rosia Bay, #Gibraltar , near our natural history museum The Gibraltar Natural History Museum and was doing quite well!
