I don’t see any increase in PhD scholarships in #Budget2024 .

Please correct me if I’m wrong. I dearly hope I am.

A quick note that $9bn is 10 times the annual budget of the ARC.

I hope that factor is reduced to only 5, or even 3, in the next a couple of hours (and, obviously, more money needs spending on many other things, too), but I really worry it'll stay right there at 10.
