Specious argument. Even it it were possible for Britain to reach Net Zero, it would make zero difference to the climate. All we're going to do is spunk billions up the wall on unworkable technology that makes everything more expensive, and people will be substantially poorer.

TL/DR: We need lots more expensive kit to balance a decarbonised grid, which will massively increase system costs, in addition to already very expensive renewables. He's right, is like a shell game.
