Chairman Cllr Susan Phillips Chair and Consort Cllr Andrew Stephens attended “An Evening of Music” with Loud Applause Rising Stars (LARS) and Cor Lleisiau’r Cwm at St Elli Parish Church recently.

The concert was compèred by Alun Gibbard, with Sian Davies LARS accompanist and Cor Lleisiau’r Cwm musical director Catrin Hughes. The concert raised much needed funds to aid the restoration of St Elli Parish Church.

Cllr Stephens attended the 1st Llanelli Scouts in the mid to late 70’s and enjoyed many activities at the scouts hall off Andrew Street, as well as summer camps in Falmouth, the Isle of Man and Jersey and camping during half team in Oxwich Bay.

Cllr Stephens thanked the committee and those that attended the AGM on his appointment and is looking forward to his time back at the scout hall.
