We’re proud to support 2makeit #NeverMoreNeeded’s ‘Music at The Hub’ project. This project will provide music sessions and ‘wraparound’ support for offenders diagnosed with personality disorder to help them resettle in the London community after release from prison. Find out more on their page.

Many people might say that prison isn’t meant to be easy.

It isn’t.

308 people died in prison in the year to September 2019. A quarter were self-inflicted. Self-inflicted deaths are over six times more likely in prison than in the general population.

What do we do?

We offer prisoners and ex-prisoners creative expression through music and the arts with mentoring support, inspiring them to lead more productive and positive lives.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you, this Songbird is a great idea, it means a lot when you’re in prison...being able to do this for my Son is special.” It's feedback like this that keeps us going.

Songbird is just one project delivered as part of our creative rehabilitation work.
